Best Game Ever for Little Leaguers

Original Video - Improv Everywhere

I just recently saw this clip from Improv Everywhere even though it was actually made about a year and a half ago. I honestly think this is one of the best things I have ever seen on the internet, and close to one of the best things I have ever seen period. Can you imagine being a kid, just playing baseball, and then BAM, all of the sudden your the center of attention and some random group of people turn your little league game into a nation event (sort of)? Everyone's go to see this.

Is it Tired in Here, Or is it Just Me?

Have you ever had a long stretch where you just never seem to catch up on your sleep? Like every night you go to bed later, and later, until it just seems like there is no point anymore? I feel like I'm in one of those terrible spirals right now. I'm going out in a little under an hour, but I'm afraid of staying awake the whole time because I couldn't fall asleep until about 5'oclock in the damn morning. God knows what will happen once classes start up again. Then it will be ugly. I just can't seem to get myself back on track with a normal sleep schedule. Oh well, at least my new wheels come today, so maybe the cycling can put me at ease.

Wake Me Up When September Ends

I've been sitting here for a little while, listening to my old Stroke 9 albums and remembering high school, remembering better times, and it just hit me that it is freaking August already.

The summer is an interesting beast in my opinion. It seems like no one can ever wait until it begins, it never lives up to expectations, is over before you realize it began, and seem to miss it all winter long. Long days that seem to stretch on forever, watching the sunset as the horizon is set ablaze with brilliant colors dazzling in the waves of an endless ocean. It almost seems like a dream. It brings freedom and friendship, love and new beginnings.

So now we have but a single month left to enjoy, and soon the shades of fall will invade with brisk winds and early evenings. The summer sun will finally fade beneath a dark autumn sky. Have we lost, have we gained? New smells in the air; sweet waves of apples and cinnamon blanket the air as the new colors of burnt sienna, fiery orange, and deep sage fill our vision creating grand scenes. At for the moment, it seems okay that summer has come to an end. That blazing sunset seems like a distant memory and as a leaf falls slowly to the ground, all will seem right with the world.
